Sandra Lauck BA, PhD, RN, MSN

Dr. Sandra Lauck holds the first UBC School of Nursing appointment as an embedded nurse clinician scientist. She previously served as the Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Vancouver transcatheter heart valve program, and the provincial director of the Cardiac Services BC structural heart disease program. She completed her PhD at UBC, and received a Heart & Stroke Foundation Nursing Research and a Canadian Institutes of Health Research Doctoral awards. Her clinical expertise and leadership was recognized with the College of Registered Nurses Award of Distinction and the Canadian Health Care Leaders Excellence in Nursing Award.
