Samuel Hyde is a cancer genetic counselor in the Clinical Cancer Genetics program at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He primarily works with patients in the Department of Endocrine Neoplasia and Hormonal Disorders, providing risk assessment and counseling to patients and families with hereditary endocrine disorders. He staffs the bi-monthly Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia (MEN) Clinic at MDACC, a collaborative clinic that specializes in providing services to patients and families affected by MEN1 and MEN2 syndromes, and also sees patients in the Sarcoma Center Genetics Clinic who may be at risk for a variety of hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes.

He received his B.S. in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2011 and his MMSc in Human Genetics & Genetic Counseling from Emory University School of Medicine. He is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and the Texas Society of Genetic Counselors.
