Sameer Jauhar is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Psychological Medicine at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College, London, and a Consultant Psychiatrist, working within Early Intervention for Psychosis services within South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. He moved to London in 2012, to conduct Positron Emission Tomography (PET) studies of the dopamine system in psychosis, undertaking a PhD under the supervision of Oliver Howes and Shitij Kapur, and have worked within Oliver Howes’ lab group since that time. We have been fortunate to publish a number of studies from this work in JAMA Psychiatry, Molecular Psychiatry and Biological Psychiatry in the last year.
