Dr. Manrriquez is a clinician, researcher and dental educator. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Orofacial Pain Residency at the Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California. Dr. Manrriquez also lectures in the Orofacial Facial Pain Continuing Education Program for the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. He is the Research Director of the Translational Research Institute of Southern California. The mission of the Translational Research Institute of Southern California is improving patient outcomes through translational research and health literacy.

Dr. Manrriquez has served as a reviewer in the Systems Biology and Bioengineering study section of the USC Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Dr. Manrriquez has also served as a reviewer for the Communication and Dissemination Research Program of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute. He is a past Council Member and Chair of the Industry Relations Committee of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain as well as a former co-chair of the Program Committee for the 2017 American Academy of Orofacial Pain Scientific Meeting. Dr. Manrriquez is a Board Member and former Program Chair for the Osseointegration Study Club of Southern California.
