Safeena Kherani MD

Dr. Safeena Kherani is a Consultant in Paediatric Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital. She has over 15 years of professional experience, including pediatric otolaryngology work with SEHA in Abu Dhabi, Children’s Hospital of Philadephia (CHOP) in the USA, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in Canada, and the Carleton Place District and Memorial Hospital (CPDMH) in Canada.

She received a Top 40 under 40 awards in Ottawa, Canada for her work building a multi-disciplinary clinic using progressive technology (ENT MDs) which resulted in her being ranked as the top ENT surgeon in Canada on RateMDs.com. Over the past two years, she led the development of pediatric ENT services for SEHA in Abu Dhabi and initiated an American Accredited Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery Residency program.

Dr. Kherani has strong knowledge and experience in the medical and surgical management of snoring, noisy breathing and stridor, pediatric nasal, sinus and airway surgery, hearing loss and middle ear disease, benign neck masses as well as other general pediatric otolaryngology disorders.
