Ruqqia Mir MD, MBBS

Dr. Mir was completed by MBBS degree from University of Peshawar Pakistan and then went to London for further formal training in medicine. Mir obtained Diploma in Internal medicine,in 1998 fromImperial College, Hammersmith hospital London. During this time also contributed to research in endocrinology in Hammersmith hospital UK. After completing MRCP in 2000 in London obtained Neurology Specialist training (CCST) in UK in 2010.

Dr. Mir have worked as a consultant neurologist in York Hospital before coming to Abu Dhabi in 2015. Mir currently working in SKMC as consultant neurologist. Mir a general neurologist with special interest in Headache disorders ,inflammatory and Neurodegenerative conditions including Multiple sclerosis. Mir obtained the Multiple Sclerosis Specialist Certification from American Professional Testing Corporation. Mir been awarded the clinical excellence award for Mir work with brain cancer patients in 2015 in York hospital. Mir the author and co-author of many articles in neurology.
