Rufino is a Professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra. He is also Head of Medical Retina Unit, Ophthalmology Department. He is specialized in Ophthalmology. His clinical interests are Retinal Surgery, Neurophthalmology, Age-related Macular Degeneration.
