Ruchira Garg, MD FACC, FASE, is board-certified in pediatric and adult congenital cardiology. She serves as Director of Congenital Non-Invasive Cardiology, Outpatient Services, and Associate Director of the Guerin Family Congenital Heart Program within the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Hospital.
She completed pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins, followed by a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She followed this with senior fellowship training in non-invasive imaging at Boston Children’s Hospital.
She has established cardiac MRI programs at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Miami Children's Hospital, and Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando. She continues her clinical and research work with cardiac MRI, congenital and interventional echocardiography, as well as fetal cardiology in the Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute. She is a long-standing member of the Society for Magnetic Resonance Imaging and a Fellow in the American Society of Echocardiography and the American College of Cardiology.
