Overview:
Heart failure in neonates is very different than in children and adults. We will review the characteristics that cause newborn congenital heart failure to be unique, examine the most useful clinical approaches of care and dive into treatment options of congenital heart failure in neonates.

Objectives:
• Identify anatomy and physiology of congenital heart lesions that commonly cause CHF in newborns
• Identify the most useful clinical signs symptoms, diagnostic tests and therapeutics related to CHF in this unique age group
• Identify medical, surgical and interventional strategies for treatment of CHF in neonates
