Roland B. Walter MD, PhD, MS

Roland Walter, M.D., Ph.D., M.S., is a board-certified physician at SCCA and a UW associate professor of Hematology, adjunct associate professor of Epidemiology and assistant member at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Dr. Walter’s goal is to inform patients comprehensively about their disease and treatment options, including experimental therapies if available, to empower them to be actively engaged in the decision-making process. Dr. Walter earned his M.D. at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, and his Ph.D. and M.S. at the UW. His clinical and research interests focus on acute myeloid leukemia.
