Roger V. Ostrander, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with additional fellowship training in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery and the treatment of sports-related injuries and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in sports medicine. Roger’s experience as team physician included coverage of Auburn University football, Tampa Bay Rays spring training and the University of West Florida athletics. He has worked side-by-side with renowned orthopaedic surgeons Dr. James Andrews and Dr. William Clancy.
Roger helped to develop the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, FL and co-founded the Andrews Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Center. He holds academic appointments at the University of West Florida, the Florida State College of Medicine and at the University Of South Alabama College Of Medicine.Dr. Roger Ostrander is an award-winning scholar who has published several scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented this research at numerous national and regional meetings.
