Dr. Steinert received his MD degree from Harvard Medical School and completed training in ophthalmology at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary in Boston. He has published more than 120 peer-review journal articles and is named in both America’s Top Doctors and Best Doctors in America in the three areas of cataract, cornea, and refractive surgery. In addition, he is past president of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, sits on the editorial boards of four major peer-review journals, and is an examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology.
