Robert Lochhead, Ph.D. an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology at The Medical College of Wisconsin. Robert Lochhead's lab is focused on identifying mechanisms whereby infectious diseases trigger immune-mediated diseases. Using Lyme arthritis as a model system, Lochhead uses both basic and translational approaches to elucidate mechanisms of pathogenesis. Robert Lochhead's clinical immunology training as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow was at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School under Allen Steere MD. Robert Lochhead's basic immunology training was as a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Utah under the direction of Janis Weis Ph.D.
