Spirochetes are an evolutionarily distinct phylum of bacteria that continues to pose a significant threat to both animal and human health. The Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) on the Biology of Spirochetes (BoS) goes well beyond the pathogenesis of these unusual bacteria and will cover topics related to chemotaxis, vector dynamics, and unique metabolic features that make spirochetes capable of thriving in diverse and disparate environments. The third edition of the BoS GRS will bring together wonderfully talented junior scientist from all over the globe to share their findings while providing ample opportunity for networking and career development.
