Dr. Amajoyi is a board-certified, fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon. He obtained a medical degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, Kansas City, MO, and completed residency training in General Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center. Dr. Amajoyi completed a fellowship in Colon and Rectal surgery at Saint Vincent Health Center in Erie, PA, and was a visiting fellow at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. He is a fellow of the prestigious International College of Surgeons.
He has been an active contributor to many scientific publications and is a frequent lecturer and visiting professor, as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. He specializes in comprehensive colorectal care, including minimally invasive colorectal and general surgery and minimally invasive anorectal surgery (proctology). He is experienced in robotic colorectal surgery, robotic groin hernia repair and robotic abdominal hernia repair.
