Robert MD, FACOG, FACS

Robert A. Burger, MD, FACOG, FACS, joins the department of obstetrics and gynecology and division of gynecologic oncology as professor of obstetrics and gynecology, director of clinical research, and fellowship program director. He specializes in the care of women with gynecologic cancers.

Dr. Burger received a medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of California, Irvine.

Dr. Burger is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology. He is a member of the National Cancer Institute Gynecologic Cancer Steering Committee Ovarian Task Force. Dr. Burger is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
