OVERVIEW
It is our pleasure to invite you to join us February 19 -21, 2015 in sunny San Diego, California for the The 17th Annual Symposium on Anti-Angiogenesis and Immune Therapies for Cancer: Recent Advances and Future Directions in Basic and Clinical Cancer Research. Formerly known as the International Symposium on Anti-Angiogenic Agents, this meeting promises to be a first-class educational event that focuses on the latest Angiogenesis and Immune Therapies for Cancer.
This conference will provide a comprehensive overview of the current understanding of anti-angiogenic and immune therapies for cancer and focus on the cutting edge science in the field, highlighting novel strategies under clinical development with potential for benefit. Through didactic presentations, debates, and interactive panel discussions and Q&A sessions, the conference will serve as a platform to resolve many of the clinical challenges for optimal integration of these agents into existing treatment paradigms, appropriate selection of patients based on biomarker profiles, and use of the agents in the adjuvant and advanced disease settings. Topics that will be deliberated by recognized experts in the field during this symposium include the rationale for and mechanisms of action of novel anti-angiogenic and immune-targeted strategies, stromal therapy and targets in the tumor microenvironment, combination regimens, controversies with the new therapeutics, mechanisms of resistance, unique adverse events, and ongoing clinical trials.
With few other meetings of this type currently in the United States, this highly-relevant clinical conference will provide the basis to advance understanding of the most recent basic and clinical science research on Angiogenesis and immune therapies for cancer. The 17th Annual Symposium on Anti-Angiogenesis and Immune Therapies for Cancer: Recent Advances and Future Directions in Basic and Clinical Cancer Research will be the premiere educational event. We look forward to seeing you in February, for what is sure to be an educational and informative scientific meeting!
