Dr Richard G Langley is a dermatologist, professor of medicine and director of research in the Division of Clinical Dermatology and Cutaneous Science. An internationally recognized award-winning expert on psoriasis and skin cancer, he is a widely-published author and regular reviewer for several medical and dermatology journals.
Dr Langley’s research focuses on cutaneous melanoma, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, skin cancer and other inflammatory skin diseases. His work on melanoma involves an in vivo confocal scanning laser microscope – the first of its kind in Canada - which permits instantaneous high-resolution images at the cellular level.
