Richard J. Lindquist MD, DABFM, FAASP, FOMA

Dr. Richard Lindquist is currently in private practice and is a consultant to hospitals and health care systems to assist with planning and development of medical weight loss programs, support bariatric surgery programs and assist in the education of practitioners in the care of patients with obesity.

Dr. Richard Lindquist is board certified in family medicine with a background in emergency medicine and emergency medical services (EMS). In 2001, he was recognized as the Oregon EMS Medical Director of the Year. His experience in EMS and community service continues to inform his activities in program development, community and physician education, practitioner training, and direct patient care. Dr. Lindquist received his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle and completed his residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla.
