Red Efrancesch MD

Dr. Fred DeFrancesch, Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Spinal Cord Injury and Pain Medicine, has served over 10 years as an Assistant Clinical Professor at both LSU and Tulane Schools of Medicine. During that time he also served as active faculty in the ACGME accredited Pain Fellowship at LSU.

Dr. DeFrancesch has experience in both non-interventional and interventional modalities used in the treatment of pain, including spinal cord stimulation and a wide spectrum of minimally invasive spine procedures.

Dr. DeFrancesch is the founder of NeuroMuscular Medical Associates, a private, multi-specialty group serving southeast Louisiana with locations in Hammond, Gonzales, LaPlace and Kenner. He has also founded a private, twelve month pain fellowship training physicians in advanced techniques, in association with Interventional Spine Specialists, which includes weekly instruction from the esteemed Dr. Charles Aprill.
