Dr. Rebekah Mannix is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is the co-Director of the Boston Children’s Hospital Brain Injury Center. Dr. Mannix is a researcher in pediatric emergency medicine with more than 100 articles, reviews and book chapters including articles in Nature, JAMA and the New England Journal of Medicine. Dr. Mannix is the founder of the Massachusetts Concussion Management Coalition which has enrolled over 200 schools in an educational program that also delivers baseline ImPACT testing to more than 80,000 students across Massachusetts. In addition, she is the Director of a translational traumatic brain injury lab whose focus is exploring the underlying physiology and long-term outcomes after the concussion.
