Rebecca Appleton Castillo MD, MS

Dr. Rebecca Appleton Castillo is the co-owner of M.D. Laser Studio and married to Dr. Castillo. Dr. Appleton is a board-certified family physician, a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and a member of the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery. She earned a B.S. from Duke and an M.S. from the University of Maryland. After earning her master’s in Exercise Physiology, Dr. Appleton earned her M.D. at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She practiced family medicine in Lake Norman for almost 20 years, focusing on women’s health, dermatology, and office procedures.

At this time, Dr. Appleton contributes extensively to all three businesses but focuses mainly on De Novo Aesthetics. This allows her flexibility to run their busy home while supervising a dedicated team of nurse injectors in the Lake Norman and Charlotte areas. In addition, she leads the treatments at M.D. Laser Studio for feminine rejuvenation.
