Rana Ahmad

Dr. Rana Ahmad undertook her undergraduate medical training in the University of Jordan, Amman. She completed her postgraduate training in General Paediatrics in the United Kingdom and later specialized in Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Rana Ahmad was appointed as a Paediatric Gastroenterology Consultant in the Royal Victoria Infirmary in 2014. She was the Department lead of the Paediatric Hepatology department managing all hepatology patients in the North of England. She also led on peadiatric endoscopy training and has an interest is total Parentral Nutrition and complex enteral nutrition.

Dr. Rana Ahmad Joined the Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology department in Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in in the United Arab Emirates in August 2016. Dr. Bitar is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and a member of the British Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition. Her publications and research are mostly in the field of Peadiatric Hepatology.
