Dr. Ramy M. Hanna is a nephrologist who practices in Palos Verdes. He is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology and is involved in clinical research, quality improvement projects, grant writing, and teaching medical students. He enjoys serving a diverse patient population and providing medical care to at-risk populations. Dr. Hanna received his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics from UCLA, graduating summa cum laude. Prior to launching a clinical practice at UCLA, Dr. Hanna worked as an internist and nephrologist at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, and with the Tower Nephrology Medical Group at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, focusing on dialysis modalities, mechanical circulatory support, and transplantation including the management of patients who received multiple organ transplants.
