Dr. Ramiz Kseri is a dually board-certified internist and pediatrician. He earned his Medical Degree from Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine, and completed his residency training at Beaumont Health. Aside from being the Chief Resident during residency, he held the position of Program Committee Chair for the LGBT Employee Resource Group (ERG), which covered all 7 hospitals of the Beaumont Health network. He also worked on projects to place preferred pronouns and names in the Electronic Medical Records, provided a comprehensive list of LGBT-friendly providers, and secured sponsorship for all of the Pride events in the metro Detroit area.
He currently works as an assistant professor at Florida State University College Of Medicine where he is the Clinical Skills Director for the second-year medical students. In addition to his role in teaching the medical students inclusive care for all, he provides direct patient care through FSU PrimaryHealth. He is one of a handful of primary care doctors in Tallahassee providing hormone-affirming care.
