Ramen H. Chmait MD

Ramen H. Chmait, MD has served as Director of Los Angeles Fetal Surgery since 2006. LA Fetal Surgery is the fetal interventional branch of the CHLA-USC Institute for Maternal-Fetal Health, which is a joint program between Children's Hospital Los Angeles and University of Southern California. In this capacity, he has provided surgical treatment to hundreds of unborn children.

Dr. Chmait also directs a research program devoted to understanding fetal disease and investigating potential treatment modalities. Dr. Chmait's goal is to provide the highest quality of care for his patients. He strives to guide his patients through what can be a trying and difficult journey by providing them with the support and personal attention they need.
