Dr. Raj Naik, MD, FRCOG is a Consultant Gynecological Oncologist / Clinical Director of the Northern Gynaecological Oncology Centre in Gateshead, Ex-President of the British Gynecological Cancer Society, Scientific Editor for BJOG, Editorial Board for Gynecologic Oncology and holds other National and International positions.
He has over 100 peer reviewed publications / reviews / chapters in the field of Gynecological Oncology and co-authored the 10th and 11th Editions of Bonney’s Gynecological Surgery. His current research and clinical interests include the ultra-radical surgical management of ovarian cancer, exenterative surgery, sentinel node surgery, use of surgical training simulators, cervical screening/colposcopy, and cervical vaccination programs
