Prashanthi N, Thota MD

Prashanthi Thota, MD, is a Staff Member in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Director of the Barrett's Center of Excellence at the Cleveland Clinic and also serves as Director for Center of Swallowing and Motility Disorders. Her specialty interest is in management of Achalasia, Barrett's, GERD and esophageal motility disorders.
Dr. Thota earned her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College University of Health Sciences in Pradesh, India. She completed an internal medicine residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, as well as a gastroenterology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
