Pisit Pitukcheewanont, MD, also known as Dr. Duke, is a professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Clinical Director of the Pediatric Bone Program at Center of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He earned his MD degree and interned at Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand. He did his residencies in pediatrics at Chiang Mai University and at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center of the University of Tennessee in Memphis where he finished his pediatric endocrine fellowship as well.

He has over 50 publications in peer-reviewed, non-peer-reviewed, book chapters. His recent publications have been concerned with the disparities resulting from the various methods of measuring bone density and pediatric bone disorders.
