Penelope Hill Dennehy MD, FAAP

Dr. Dennehy is currently a Professor of Pediatrics at Brown Medical School and Director of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. She is in the practice of academic medicine and is actively involved in teaching, research and clinical care. Her primary areas of research include the epidemiology and etiology of viral gastroenteritis and viral respiratory disease, rotavirus disease and prevention, and the testing of vaccines and immunobiology for prevention of rotavirus, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus. She is a former member of the American Academy of Pediatrics "Redbook" Committee and Past-President of the Pediatrics Infectious Disease Society
