Dr. Paula James is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, with cross-appointments to Pathology & Molecular Medicine and Pediatrics.
She graduated from medical school at the University of Saskatchewan and did her Internal Medicine residency there as well. She moved to Kingston in 1999 to start her Hematology training and joined the Faculty at Queen’s in July of 2004. She is a Clinician Scientist with an active research program investigating the genetic basis of inherited bleeding disorders as well as the quantitation of bleeding symptoms
