Paul M. Mcsheehy PhD

Dr. Paul McSheehy is Senior Scientist and Leader of Cancer Biology In Vivo & Translational Science Oncology at Basilea Pharmaceutica. Dr. McSheehy has previously worked in the industry for Virco UK and SmithKline Beecham. Earlier, he worked as a Research Fellow in the CRC Biomedical Magnetic Resonance Research Unit at St. George’s Hospital Medical School, London, during which he had a one year sabbatical at the Mario-Negri Institute in Milan. He graduated in Biochemistry (University of Sussex) and completed his Ph.D. in 1984 at the University of London in the same subject. He has published over 60 original articles, most of which are concerned with functional non-invasive imaging and angiogenesis.
