Dr. Grundy known as the godfather of the PCMH is the Chief Medical Officer Global Director of Healthcare Transformation, IBM Corporation Healthcare Life Sciences Industry. . He is a healthcare ambassador for the nation of Denmark and adjunct professor at the University of Utah Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. He is a member of National Academy of Science’s National Academy of Medicine (Institute of Medicine), director of the ACGME and member of the national advisory board of the National Center for Interprofessional Practice & Education, Dr. Grundy is the founding president of the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative. He is a retired senior diplomat with the rank of Minister Consular U.S. State Department. Winner of 3 US department of State Superior Honor, 2012 NCQA Quality, the 2014 Sappington and the 2016 Barbara Starfield Centered Primary Care awards.
