Patrick Linson, MD, is a radiation oncologist in San Diego specializing in the treatment of prostate, brain, lung and skin cancers. In addition, he has expertise in intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), image-guided proton radiotherapy (IMPT), and Cyberknife stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and Cyberknife stereotactic body radiation treatment (SBRT) for brain, spine, lung, liver, kidney and prostate tumors.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Linson participates in studies evaluating prostate cancer treatments. He also conducted research while attending Harvard Medical School. After graduating, he completed a fellowship in preventive medicine at Harvard School of Public Health, where he went on to obtain his Masters in Public Health. Dr. Linson has worked on a number of cancer prevention projects at Harvard and the National Cancer Institute and continues to research prostate cancer prevention strategies.
