Dr. Thorpe is an interventional radiologist specializing in endovascular venous reconstruction for acute and chronic venous disease. After a twenty year career in academic medicine, she now has a dedicated private practice in Phoenix at the Arizona Heart Hospital. She attended medical school at Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine. Her residency training in General Surgery and Radiology was conducted in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota Hospitals. She did her VIR fellowship at Stanford. As a CAQ Board Certified Interventional Radiologist, Dr. Thorpe treats patients suffering with DVT and post-thrombotic syndrome who come from many countries and from all over the country. She has been a professor at Creighton University, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Iowa.
