Nicola Pavese MD, PhD, FRCP

Nicola Pavese, MD, PhD is a a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Consultant Neurologist at Imperial College London. He achieved his MD in 1990, Specialist qualification in Neurology in 1994 and Specialist qualification in Biochemistry and Clinical Chemistry in1998 from Pisa University. He also has a PhD in Neuroimaging and Movement Disorders (Imperial College London).
From 1999 to 2001, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Division of Neuroscience and Psychological Medicine, Imperial College London. He then moved to the Clinical Sciences Centre – Medical Research Council, UK - where he worked as a Research Associate (2001-2004) and later as a Senior Investigator Scientist (2004-2011). Since June 2012 he is also Associate Professor at Aarhus University in Denmark.
