Dr. Osborne, Assistant Professor of Surgery, serves as Associate Program Director of the Vascular Surgery training programs at the University of Michigan and Chief of Vascular Surgery at the Ann Arbor Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in microbiology and received his MD from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH in 2005. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Michigan between 2005 and 2012.

During his training, he spent two years as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar, pursuing research on hospital and surgical quality, as well as health disparities under the mentorship of Dr. John Birkmeyer and Dr. Justin Dimick. During this time, he received a Masters in Health and Healthcare Research from the University of Michigan. He completed his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2014 and joined the staff at both the University of Michigan Frankel Cardiovascular Center and the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
