Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Society (VESS) 2019 Annual Winter Meeting is organized by Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Society (VESS) and will be held from Jan 31 - Feb 03, 2019 at Snowbird, Snowbird, Utah, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is physicians, surgeons, researchers, residents, fellows and allied health professionals to promote the field of vascular and endovascular surgery through education, advocacy and leadership.

Course Description:
This Course is designed to provide three and a half days of comprehensive educational experiences in the fields of vascular surgery and disease and other aspects of vascular surgical care.
 

Learning Objectives :

This activity is designed for vascular surgeons and associated health care workers involved in the management of patients with vascular disease. Upon completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

• Evaluate the use of tibial interventions within their own practice
• Review their practice patterns regarding the administration of opioid medications
• Better stratify patients for risk of deep vein thrombosis after ablation of superficial veins
• Better evaluate patients regarding use of measures of frailty
• Understand risk factors for high radiation exposure
• Better treat patients who have sustained vascular injuries from trauma
• Evaluate the use of ultrasound for arterial access within their own institution
