Dr. N. M. Shyam Sundar is a Chairman and Professor in the Department of Anatomy at the JSS Medical College. He was the first person in the country (2nd in the world) to design a new technique of preservation of specimens called “Plastination.” He has had Family Practice at a Mini Clinic in Siddarthanagar since 35 years charging only Rs.10 (including medicines). Dr. Shama Sundar has been nominated from Karnataka to the National Board of Examiners, New Delhi, as a Specialist Member, which takes care of Diplomate National Board (DNB) Course and Examinations of Speciality and Super-Speciality Medical Courses.
