Biography :
Mollie J. Holter studied Microbiology, Chemistry, and Business at the University of Minnesota and spent her first 5 years of work at the Jackson Laboratories managing the Diagnostic PCR Laboratory and at the Arizona Department of Health as a Communicable Disease Epidemiologist. In 2004, she started her career in Medical Devices at Boston Scientific in the laboratory, performing and developing microbiology, biocompatibility, and sterilization tests. She managed teams of Microbiologists and Toxicologists at Olympus and Smiths Medical from 2007-2017, responsible for the biocompatibility and sterilization of all new products and design changes for each company globally. With over 15 years of medical device experience, she started her own consulting business and began her new role as the Owner and Principal Consultant of MicroBio Consulting. Ms. Holter is actively involved in the AAMI working groups for ISO/TC194 and ISO/TC198 and has served as an expert consultant to over 40 clients since the origination of MicroBio Consulting.
