Mohd Nor MD, MEmMed

Dr. Mohd Afiq Bin Mohd Nor works as an emergency physician at Malaysia’s University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). He is also the President of IKRAM Health Malaysia and a co-founder of MyResQ, Malaysia’s first and only life-saving mobile app.

Dr. Afiq earned his Doctor of Medicine in General Medicine from Russian State Medical University in 2010. In 2019, he earned his Master of Emergency Medicine from the University of Malaya. He received a fellowship in Disaster Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Centre in Dallas, Texas, in 2020.

Dr. Afiq is a dedicated physician and a tireless public health advocate. He is a regular contributor to various media outlets and has written extensively on a variety of topics including life-threatening situations, CPR, emergency preparedness, tobacco control, and vaping. He has also appeared on several television and radio programmes and is a frequent speaker at medical and health education events.
