Mohamed Kanj, MD is the Associate Director of Electrophysiology Laboratories at the Robert and Suzanne Tomsich Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Kanj has special expertise and interest in the ablation of complex arrhythmia, including atrial fibrillation and endocardial /epicardial ventricular tachycardia, and in lead extraction. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and cardiac pacing and electrophysiology. His office is located on the main campus of the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Kanj did his undergraduate studies at the American University of Beirut earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with Distinction. He received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut School of Medicine where he graduated with Deans Honor and was enrolled in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He received medical training at the Michigan State University where he served as the Chief Medical Resident, the University of Toledo and the Cleveland Clinic where he was the Chief Electrophysiology Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic.
