Mjaye Leslie Mazwi MBChB, MD

Dr. Mjaye Mazwi completed medical School at the University of Zimbabwe. He pursued pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and both Cardiology and Critical Care fellowships at Children’s Hospital in Boston, Harvard Medical School. He is currently a Staff Physician in Cardiac Critical Care at the Hospital for Sick Children and directs the Translational Engineering Program in Critical Care.

His research interests include engineering the capture of high-resolution, continuous physiological data and the analysis and incorporation of this data in predictive models that guide care and support clinical decision making. Dr Mazwi is a member of the Laussenlabs research group at the Hospital for Sick Children and a Project Investigator in Translational Medicine at The SickKids Research Institute.
