Miri Ziv PhD

Miri Ziv, ICA's Director General, is a Medical Sociologist and serves as a consultant for the Israeli medical authorities, providing guidance on issues relating to cancer control. One of her main areas of expertise and interest lies in the area of breast cancer advocacy.

Miri is active both locally and abroad. She works towards initiating and implementing national projects, especially in the area of cancer control, for example, she initiated steps that led to the implementation of the National Mammography Screening Program in Israel, Skin Cancer Awareness Month, as well as countless other programs to raise awareness and promote early detection, methods of prevention and new means of rehabilitation for patients and survivors.
