Dr. Micol Rothman is currently a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology with secondary appointments in Psychiatry and Radiology. She directs the Metabolic Bone Clinical Program and is a co-founder and medical director of the UC Health Integrated Transgender Program. She also read bone density studies for the University of Colorado Hospital.
Dr. Rothman received her MD degree from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. She did her internship and residency at Johnson Hopkins Hospital and then came to the University of Colorado for her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism and stayed on as faculty since 2006. Her research interests are in the intersection of sex steroids and metabolic bone disease.
