Dr. Michel Akl is board certified in pediatrics and asthma/allergy and immunology, Graduate of saint Joseph university school of medicine of Beirut Lebanon, Dr. AKL did his residency in pediatrics at children hospital of buffalo, SUNY AT BUFFALO, and his fellowship in asthma/ allergy/ immunology at Washington University in Saint Louis MO. He also received training in Aesthetic Medicine. He is the Director of the annual Asthma/Allergy /Rheumatology seminar in western NY. As a past president of Cattaraugus county medical society New York, he created and became editor of people medical digest.

Dr. AKL is currently an assistant professor of medicine at KALEIDA health in buffalo, buffalo general hospital, dep. of asthma/allergy/immunology, and rheumatology. And in the practice of Asthma Allergy and Aesthetic medicine in 3 centers. Fluent in several languages, including English, Arabic, French, and Spanish, he has a multitude of international publications, such as latex allergy, chronic granulomatosis disease, Chinese restaurant syndrome, cystic fibrosis, and others. Dr. AKL founded three private practices, in Olean NY, Jamestown NY, and Buffalo NY. All the offices are 100 % EMR functioning and templates made from scratch by Dr. AKL for all diseases related to Asthma / Allergy and Immunology, and Aesthetic Medicine for new patients as well as for following/up visits, this, made documenting at its best, and, decreased tremendously related liabilities.
