Dr. Angarone is a graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed an Internal medicine Residency at Loyola University and a Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.  He is an Infectious Disease specialist at Northwestern Medicine and has been a faculty member since 2009. His practice focuses on the evaluation and treatment of infections in immune compromised individuals, including recipients of organ and stem cell transplants, those on immune suppressive therapy and those with HIV/AIDS. He is also involved in the education of medical students as the Clerkship Director for the Medicine Sub-Internship at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and the education of medical residents and Infectious Disease Fellows as one of the Core Clinical Faculty Members for the Northwestern Internal Medicine Program and the Infectious Disease Fellowship.
