Michael K. Fritsch MD, PhD

Dr. Fritsch is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Pediatric Pathology and will serve on the surgical pathology and autopsy services. Dr. Fritsch is no stranger to the UW Madison, having been a member of the Department from 2000-2010. At that time, Dr. Fritsch’s clinical focus was primarily perinatal and adult autopsy, and he ran a basic research laboratory studying how the molecular process of chromatin remodeling regulates early embryonic stem cell differentiation.
Dr. Michael Fritsch earned his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (formerly UW Medical School) Madison, WI and completed his residency at the National Cancer Institute. He also completed a fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
