Michael J. Attanasio DO

Dr. Michael Attanasio is a board-certified Doctor of Osteopathy in family practice and has over 22 years of experience. He is a graduate of Villanova University and received his doctor of osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency through UMDMJ-JFK. Dr. Attanasio is actively focused on the Patient Centered Medical Home model and providing continuity of care to our patients.
In 2015, Ritner Medical Associates became one of the first practices in South Philadelphia to receive the NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home Recognition. For the past four years, Dr. Attanasio has spoken at PCMH Congress on various topics related to the stresses and successes of Primary Care, with his partner, Megan Santanna (MS, PCMH CCE). He rounds at Methodist Hospital, St. Monica's Manor, and Pennsylvania Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Attanasio enjoys spending time with his family and rooting for all Philadelphia sports teams, he is a real Philly Phan-atic.
