Melissa L. Torrey MD

As a medical oncologist and hematologist, Melissa Torrey, MD, treats both solid and hematologic malignancies (cancers of the blood, bone marrow and lymph nodes) with a focus on breast and gynecological solid tumors and benign hematology. In addition to her clinical practice, she conducts research on breast cancer.

A believer in the mind/body connection, Dr. Torrey provides emotional support to those in her care and has a genuine interest in her patients’ lives outside of the exam room. She sees her patients, first and foremost, as someone’s child, parent, or spouse — and not just a person with a disease to be treated.
